Rat McCallum-PG-Detroit- The Freshman is only averaging 14.5 ppg, but this former top 20 nationally ranked recruit has deep range from three and great ball skills. Detroit could make a lot of noise in the Horizon tournament.
Charles Jenkins-PG-Hofstra- If this guy was on a power conference team, he would be getting as much love as Kemba and Fredette. Hofstra is still in the race for their conference title, and they are definitely an upset pick in March as long as he's on the team.
Klay Thompson-SG-Wash St- Thompson is one of the most underrated players in the NCAA. This kid can do it all. What makes him scary is that his scoring skills added to his big body makes him an impossible matchup for opponents.
Tu Holloway-PG-Xavier- Tu bursted onto the scene when him and former teammate Jordan Crawford almost upset KSU last year in the tourney. He's back this year, and his 3 point shot is something opposing teams have to contain.
what's your deal? aren't u happy with the actual stephen curry? he's the real thing. i don't think jimmer is as good anyway. and now you are talking about new "Jimmers"? you are getting ahead of yourself. only klay and jenkins are near him in class. i think klay could fit into chicago as a catch and shoot guy
ReplyDeleteWhen did i say i wasn't happy with Stephen Curry. Alot of the fun that goes into the NCAA tournament in march is seeing one player dominate for usually an underdog team. Now BYU won't be any underdog, but to mabey see Jenkins or Holloway score 30+ points on a #4 seed and knock them off is always exciting.
ReplyDeleteIs hofstra capable of being a 4 seed? Are they even ranked right now? And yeah no one is like Jimmer right now, no ones gonna score like he does this year. Only kemba, but hes on a decline
ReplyDeleteHofstra is capable of "beating" a 4 seed, not being one. But they are going to need to win their conference tourney to get in.
