  1. Why are all of the guards you chose Point Guards? Is there not any true 2 guards in the summer camp? I know billups can shoot the ball, but isn't Team USA going to need someone who can shoot the ball?

  2. The better guards in camp are all point guards. The only true shooters who have a shot to make it are Stephen Curry and O.J. Mayo

  3. Yeah, Stephen Curry is a flat out stud. One of the best pure shooters around. Don't you think that if the USA can't get some decent shooters on their roster, that they might be in trouble? Even though their talent is far superior to any team they will face.

  4. Curry did really impress in Saturday's scrimmage. I can see him staying and taking either Westbrook or Evans spot.

  5. Curry is definitely not a flat out stud. I dont know who said that but Curry isnt even that amazing. Hes just talked about because hes the best on the Warriors. Big deal. Id rather have Mayo. Whoever said that must be a Curry fan cuz hes not that good.

  6. Well Mayo and Curry both averaged 17.5 ppg this year, and curry is by far the better 3 pt shoorter. Also Mayo averaged 3 asssists per game while Curry averaged 6. Not to mention that Curry is only a rookie, while Mayo has one more year of experience in the NBA. Curry also averaged a half a rebound better than Mayo too. I am a Curry fan and I wouldn't even say he is the best on the team, when Montai ellis averaged over 25 ppg.

  7. Yeah but calling him a flat out stud is a bit of an overstatement.

  8. maybe, but when you say Mayo is better, thats clearly a wrong statement.

  10. To my boy who said Mayo was better than Curry. How do you figure now, Mayo will be watching the FIBA world championships from his couch.

  11. Thatsportskid, does Curry have any chance of making the Olympic roster in 2012? Im a fan of Curry and was hoping he would make the team.

  12. Michael Redd's role on the 2008 squad was the 'designated shooter.' He came in and just gave the team energy by hitting long shots. Curry could definitely fit that role in 2012.

  13. with the exception of Durant, which players from the remaining ones have the best shot at making the Olympic roster?

  14. There are about 4-5 spots open for the 2012 olympics. Rose, Rondo, Westbrook and Curry all have a shot to make it and possibly Rudy Gay or Brook Lopez.

  15. Curry is not even good. Westbrook would take him all day
