I think he spends the 2010-2011 with the Hornets, but next off season will be wild.
Don't you think that the Hornets are going to want draft picks from any team they trade Paul to? Isn't he too good of a player not to get 1st round picks out of?
ReplyDeletefirst of all, let's hope cp3 never leaves NOLA. secondly if he went to orlando they would not get vince carter. he would play with carter and howard. Even the guys on espn this morning were saying that cp3 carter and howard would be amazing together. I think some of your possiblities are outrageous but thats my opinion. Cmon CP3 please stay in New Orleans.
ReplyDeleteThat's the only way cp3 would go to orlando. Vince Carter's expiring contract is so valuable that it almost has to be in the deal. It may seem outrageous to you, but when his name pops up to the Hornets this winter, don't be surprised. Also, draft picks would surely be in every trade scenario.
ReplyDeleteYeah. If the Magic don't trade Carter how do you expect them to land Chris Paul. Surely Paul, Carter, and Howard would be a potent combination, but its going to be very hard for it to happen. Also, is there really any reason for Paul to stay? New Orleans is not a contender and they don't have the personell to become one anytime soon. I agree with you thatssportskid Carter would almost certainly be in a deal involving Paul and Orlando.
ReplyDeleteWell, the Hornets will have to convince Paul in the meeting on Monday that they are determined to win now with young talent and rebuild at the same time. The trouble is, will CP3 think he can win with the young talent in New Orleans? Still look for him to stay in 'Orleans this year.
ReplyDeleteLooks like CP will stay this year after their meeting. He was happy with the direction the team was heading. HOpefully this decision doesnt backfire on him and he has a productive year this season with the Hornets.
