- Enes Kanter-C-Kentucky: Is a projected top 3 pick and he will make Kentucky fans forget that guy named Cousins.
- Harrison Barnes-SF-North Carolina: Top recruit of 2010, and has the talent to start in the NBA right now.
- Perry Jones-PF-Baylor: Ferocious rebounder and definitely a lottery pick next year.
- Brandon Knight-PG-Kentucky: Another fab freshman on the Calipari squad, and was Gatorade High School Player of the Year.
- Kyle Irving-PG-Duke: Regarded as the top guard of the class and will be key part of Duke's chances to repeat.
- Jereme Richmond-SF-Illinois: Mr. Basketball of ILL and he will help take this team to March and beyond.
- Josh Selby-PG-Kansas: Bill Self says Josh is a great rebounding guard and will be a tremendous distributor to the shooters on KU.

Do you really think that RIchmond will take illinois to the tourney? Even with Coble gone, i think Northwestern is better. But thats just me. And what are your thoughts on Coble leaving for education?
ReplyDeleteNot just Richmond. McCamey, Davis, Tisdale, Richardson, Paul, Head, Leonard, Cole, and Griffey. Illinois is easily a top 20 team this year especially with the senior leadership of McCamey, Davis, and Tisdale. Also Illinois is as deep as any team in the country. Northwestern has yet to make a tournament in their history, and that will not change this year. With COble at full strength Northwestern could ahve finished in the top half of the Big Ten this year, but without COble their not a good team. Northwestern can't compete with Illinois, Ohio State, Purde, or Michigan State. Northwestern will finish in the bottom 5 of the Big ten for sure. Just watch Illinois will be there come March making a deep run in the big dance.
ReplyDeleteFirst off, he left because he isn't completely healthy and is getting outplayed by freshmen in camp. Richmond might not lead Illinois to the tourney single handedly, but they will be there for sure. Northwestern is still borderline for going .500 in the big ten. Shurna is good, but not enough to contend with the Illini.
ReplyDeletewell said thatsportskid. Northwestern blows
ReplyDeleteOk well just because richmond is on the team doesnt mean that they will make the tourney. Remember they didnt make it last year. Is richmond THAT GOOD? Even if Northwestern cant contend with Illiniois, they wont make it. Who cares, richmond wont make that much of a difference.
ReplyDeleteRichmond will average double digit points for the Illini. You add that to a very solid front court and the leading scorer from last year in Mccamey, and your looking at a top 20 team. Illinois isn't missing any key players from last year and only got better this year by adding two top 50 recruits and their big men working hard in the weight room. The only question is will Mccamey, Mike Davis, and Tisdale step up and be senior leaders. If the leadership is there, this team is a legit shot for the big ten title.
